I write and produce music using mostly software like Propellerhead Reason 2.5 and Cakewalk SONAR 3. On the web, I go by the handle SGX or SuperGreenX. I try to make something different and challenge myself every time.

You can download most of my recent music in mp3 format at my music site, supergreenx.com . My album Synesthetic has sold over one hundred copies over the internet. I also occasionally do some tracks for KFSS Studios. I hope you'll listen!

I find that a lot of my ideas about creating visual art translate to creating music and vice versa. Balance and composition of a piece share some similar ideas, but are applied in two dimensional space for drawings and over time for music. My preference for using abstract ideas carries over between visual and aural mediums also. Using mainly computer software to compose my music, I enjoy both making synthetic sounds, and manipulating recordings so that they are much different in the same ways that I enjoy creating and manipulating imagry with graphics software.

I feel that I am a Synesthete - someone who assosiates colors and images with sounds. When I listen to music, I often envision colors and shapes moving. I think that the colors and ideas I use in my visual arts are often the same that I like to see when I write my music or listen to other such inspiring music.
I plan to continue exploring art in both visual and aural medium in the future. Creating has been one of the most rewarding activities in my life thus far, and I hope to get better and better at it.
